GENERAL OVERVIEW
- Sodalis AR requires that you provide details of at least one (1) Next of Kin after initial sign-up.
- Completion of this first step will enable you to enter the details of all your personal assets in a carefully categorized manner
- These details will be kept safe, protected by strong cyber security technology.
- Dedicated SodalisAR staff will make periodic contacts with you either by email, text messages or phone calls as a medium of ascertaining your continual use of the service, and your state of being.
- Your listed Next of Kin will be the next to be contacted in cases where you are beyond reach after a consistent number of attempts. This enables SodalisAR to confirm your state of being: dead or alive.
- In the unfortunate incident when your Next of Kin reports of your demise, they will be notified of the arrangement you made with us by signing up for our service.
- However, in order to have access to your Asset Report, they will be required to provide valid documents to confirm your demise, and to confirm their identities.
- A thorough verification process follows, and may take up to three weeks, depending on your location.
- Upon successful verification of the information provided by your Next of Kin, we will then proceed to issue the Asset Report containing details of your personal assets.
- The Asset Report, however, does not amount to a Will. It only shows the existence and whereabouts of your personal assets.
- The Next of Kin would be required to surrender the Asset Report to the Administrator of your estate to assist in tracing and recovering of your assets, which would then be distributed to your surviving relatives/beneficiaries according to any available Will or by the applicable laws in your country.
HOW TO GET STARTED
Register for a user account by going through the following steps:
Step 1: Provide your personal email address or valid mobile phone number as your Username
Step 2: Enter your preferred password
Step 3: Upload a snapshot of your valid ID card (Passport, Driving License, Voters’ ID, National ID Card, etc).
Step 4: Select your preferred subscription plan, and follow the prompts to pay for it online using Mobile Payments or Card Payments. Once payment is completed successfully, your newly created account will open, displaying your SodalisAR dashboard. However, at this point sign-up is not complete yet.
Step 5: Please complete the sign-up process by providing three (3) Next of Kin. These are people who, upon your demise or incapacity, would be qualified to receive a report of all the assets entered by you (this is also known as the Asset Report).
Step 6: Upload a User Profile Picture. This is, however, optional.
Step 7: Proceed to complete the Asset Register by entering details of your personal assets in the fields provided in each of the following asset classes:
- Bank Accounts– Accounts held at Universal Banks, Finance Houses, Savings & Loans Companies, Microfinance Companies, etc.
- Investment Accounts– Accounts held at Investment Banks or Investment Accounts held at Universal Banks, Finance Houses, Savings & Loans Companies, Microfinance Companies, etc.
- Insurance Policies– Accounts held at Insurance Companies.
- Pension Accounts– Accounts held at Pension Fund Management Companies including National Pensions Management Institutions like SSNIT.
- Mobile Money Accounts– Accounts held with mobile telephone networks: e.g. MTN MoMo, Telesel Cash, AT Cash, etc.
- Money lent to Family & Friends – Money given out as soft loans to family and friends with the expectation of repayment.
- Lands and House– Parcels or plots of undeveloped and semi-developed land, and buildings. Where a building entered here is occupied by people other than the owner, details of the occupant would be required here as well.
- Vehicles– Private cars, commercial vehicles for transportation and other purposes such as heavy duty work
- Other Assets– Assets that do not fall under any of the Asset Classes above: e.g. Fuel Debit Cards
Step 8: Generate Asset Report to cross check the correctness of the information provided and make changes where they are required.
Step 9: Log out of the User Account when you are satisfied with the information entered
Step 10: At any time during the subscription period you can log into your User Account to update any of the following records:
- Details of Personal Assets
- Personal details like residential address, phone number, etc
- Details of Next of Kin, including replacement them all together.

- You will be required to renew your subscription periodicall by paying the required fees to enable you have access to your User Account.
